Fuse Lane is named after the little laneway behind the first switchboard Sam Ferraro ever rebuilt on his own. Sam served his apprenticeship rewiring 1890s terraces in Northcote, then spent a decade in the factory switchrooms of Brunswick before taking the trade back to the houses.
Fifteen years in the roofs of the inner north teaches you things a franchise van never learns: which suburbs still have vulcanised rubber cable, why every second Thornbury weatherboard has a meter box on the wrong wall, and how much power a Brunswick warehouse conversion actually needs.
So the promise is simple. The person who quotes the job does the job, and the job comes with a Certificate of Electrical Safety. If Fuse Lane can't take it on, you'll hear it straight and get a referral instead of a waitlist.
